If you already have a Razer product, then you already have the software installed, in which case the keyboard becomes plug-and-play straight out of the box. It's understandable though why for some it could get annoying when you're sharing a room with someone else. The keystrokes are loud, but this adds to the re sponsiveness. The tactile response of the keyboard is phenomenal. This hand rest doesn't directly attach to the keyboard, but rather simply lays flat against the keyboard however, it has the proper weight and texture to prevent it from moving as you type. It's very comfortable and color matches with the black design of the keyboard. It also comes with a hand rest that extends across the length of the keyboard. If you have a Razer mouse that similarly lights up, then you can match the chroma color changing in perfect synchronization with the mouse's lighting! As a Razer product, it's a part of the Razer Synapse software, so you can configure it's brightness, color, etc. Phenomenal keyboard, and by far my favorite keyboard I've had. Slick, responsive, and the rotating chroma lighting pairs great with Razer's Deathadder chroma mouse.
